Annie Schmitt is a photographer and visual storyteller based in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up in a beach town in Queens, New York, her early experiences with photography were shaped by the contrast between coastal landscapes and city life. Her diverse portfolio spans everything from digital photography and scientific imaging to drone photography and high-speed camera work, blending art with cutting-edge technology.

A recent graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, Annie holds a BS in Photographic Sciences, with minors in Imaging Science and Visual Culture. Throughout her studies, she honed her technical expertise in areas such as digital imaging, content creation, and visual communication. This unique combination of art and science shapes her approach to photography: one that is meticulous, innovative, and driven by the desire to capture the world through both an artistic lens and a scientific one.
